Inspiration
Golf course architecture has many sources of inspiration and an excellent place to start is in books describing the work of the masters – Mackenzie, Ross, Colt, Simpson, Willy Park Jnr. – but best of all, simply walk or play the courses of these and other great architects.
With just a little practice, it is truly amazing how much can be learned through a day on the course. The smallest of details often makes the difference between a good course and an outstanding one, both aesthetically and for the player.
Golf courses are not the only source of inspiration for Line Mortensen Ltd. – the countless moods and facets of the countryside, the turning landscape and the architectural excellence of buildings are all deeply inspirational.
Take a well-earned break and join Line Mortensen in her world of images and inspiration for new and exciting projects.
